Direct Support Professional Position description:

Duties

Under general supervision, plans, organizes and directs clients' programming and activities within a community residential setting; delivers implementation and monitoring of clients' individual treatment programs to enhance the consumers' independence; provides supports in activities of daily living and personal care.
 

Requirements

  • SC driver's license with good driving record
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must attend 5 days of classroom training
  • Must be trained in crisis management procedures and techniques and maintain a practitioner or higher level of certification

 

Maintenance Coordinator Position description:

Duties

Under general supervision of the Executive Director, repairs and maintains equipment and facilities; identifies current and future maintenance requirements by establishing rapport with management and other staff; maintains equipment, parts and supplies inventory; serves as a member of the agency's Safety Committee; operates necessary equipment as the job demands, to include, but not limited to, power tools, forklifts, plumbing devices, lifts (cargo and van) etc.; on-call status for emergency repairs or as requested by supervisor. This is a full-time position.
 

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience and must possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of tools, equipment, repair procedures
  • SC driver's license with good driving record
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be compatible with a wide range of people and have past or potential ability to supervise others
  • Must be able to display and maintain good safety-related habits and direct others in the safety performance of their duties
